Liver stones & gallstones are formed from excess cholesterol, lipids (fat), bile pigments, protein, bile salts, biliary sludge and bilirubin within the liver. There are three types of liver stones; cholesterol stones, protein stones and the bile pigment (bilirubin) stones. Bile pigment (bilirubin) stones form when there is excess bilirubin in the bile, these stones are often very dark and hard (calcified) and sink in the toilet. Cholesterol stones form when there is excess cholesterol in the bile from eating to much fatty foods. Protein stones form when there is to much protein in the bile. All three of these stones can become calcified over time making them hard as a rock. When stones become calcified they show up on ultra sounds, if your ultra sound didn't show liver or gallstones it doesn't means you might not have them. Liver and gallstones that aren't yet calcified may not show up on your ultra sound. Doing a yearly or bi yearly liver flush is recommended to maintain a healthy liver as well as flush out much of these accumulative stones that collect over time. Eventually these stones get dumped into the gall badder causing health problems such as overweight, bloating, poor eyesight, bad breath, pain, impure blood, poor digestion, constipation, tiredness, fatigue, headaches, skin problems, etc. These stones block the flow of bile causing fat to be stored in the body and the liver itself. This excess fat can cause a fatty liver also know as fatty liver disease a condition of the liver when 10% or more of it's composition is comprised of up fat. This fat as well as toxic stone build up in the liver speed the process of developing fatty liver disease as well as more advanced stages of liver disease such as fibrosis and cirrhosis. Cirrhosis of the liver has 6 stages before progressing into necrosis which is a very life threatening and serious health condition. After necrosis liver cancer risk increases and the chances of developing liver failure increases, the last stages of liver failure results in death. Although you can not live with out a liver you can live with only one third of your liver still functioning due to its amazing regenerative properties.

Liver Stone & Gallstone Symptoms
Symptoms of liver & gallstones include fatty food intolerance, cooked food intolerance, junk food intolerance, rising cholesterol, poor immunity, abdominal pain, poor digestion, weight gain, gas, bloating, loss of appetite, poor eye sight, yellow eyes, and back pain . More serious liver and gall stone symptoms include yellow eyes/ skin (jaundice), persistent pain, hepatitis, fatty liver disease, fibrosis, cirrhosis, necrosis, gallbladder attacks, chills, sweating, fever and frequent sickness.
Often there are no symptoms and the condition goes undetected until a sudden gallbladder attack occurs or you get diagnosed with hepatitis, fatty liver, fibrosis, cirrhosis or blood tests show liver and or gall bladder problems.

List of Liver Stone & Gallstone Symptoms
Liver & Gallstone Symptoms: Most symptoms of liver stones are usually nonspecific symptoms, meaning, they don't suggest that the liver is their cause. Some of the more common signs and symptoms of liver stones include:

Liver Stone & Gallstone Causes
Liver Stones and or gallstones are caused by unhealthy eating, stress, obesity, emotional unbalance, lack of exercise, increased cholesterol/lipid intake, to much billirubin (bi-product of dead red blood cells) and calcium unbalances. Fatty foods like pork and beef cause liver and gall bladder stones from excess cholesterol and lipids found in the meat. Processed food, junk food, preservatives, additives, artificial colors/flavors, dairy products, bread, margarine, butter, sugar, excessive protein, chemicals, non-organic food, pesticides, smoking, air pollution, carcinogens, and other toxins also cause these stones. When these substances are brought into the body the liver has to process them and sometimes stores them in the form of liver and or gallstones. When there is a constant intake of these toxins the liver is over worked and doesn't know what to do with the excess so it stores them as stones. Causes of stone build up are exposure to fatty foods and toxins over a long period of time. Stone formation happen gradually with prolonged use of these substances. Liver and gallstone formation happen when bile is concentrated and begins to thicken from increased bilirubin levels. The bile slowly begins to lump together until small stones are formed, over time these stones can get bigger as more concentrated bile attaches to the stones. Stones can range in size from 1-3mm to the size of a golf ball.
Liver Stone & Gallstone Treatment | Diet
Liver and gallstones can be treated by following a liver flush diet for 1-4 weeks prior to doing the liver flush. A liver flush diet consists of fresh organic raw fruits and vegetables, raw foods contain more life force & digestive power than cooked food. By following a mostly raw food diet (60-80%) you will strengthen your liver and prepare it for transition to regeneration disease cure reversal mode. Alone with a highly raw food diet during this 1-4 weeks you will want to take special liver support herbs like milk thistle, dandelion or burdock. These herbs as well as many others have powerful liver protecting, restoring and rebuilding properties. They contain important vital nutrients that support and maintain optimal liver function. These nutrients are required for phase one and two liver detoxification pathways. The first detoxification pathway requires specific nutrients like B, C & E vitamins, folic acid, glutothione, antioxidants & carotenoids. Phase two liver detoxification pathways require the nutrients selenium sulphur, amino acids, glutamine, glycine, cysteine and taurine. Most of these nutrients are found in good liver support supplements and herbs like Livatone Plus and liver support herbs from Love Your Liver.
